Devi’ls Breath peppers are a large hot pepper (similar in size to a regular bell pepper).Very productive plants growing 2 – 3 ft in height, each plant can produce 25 – 30 peppers or more.
You can use these peppers when they are green or young, they still pack a heafty punch – with maturity turning to red the heat intensifies.
Start seeds indoors 6 – 8 weeks prior to transplant in warm sunny location. Germination time can take up to 3 weeks, please be patient. Germination of these seeds will require consistent heat, moist soil and a good quality seed starting mix. These are a rare specialty pepper and do require a little more care with germination.
Depending on your growing season you may want to start seeds a couple weeks earlier as maturity is at least 90 days, peppers will continue as long as the heat and sun continues.
